Hello loves,

I have been so busy with work and life recently. I’m sorry my posts have been sporadic. I started this blog as a fun side hobby, and I’m trying not to pressure myself into feeling bad about not writing or feeling guilty for taking time for myself. At the same time, I’m so thankful that I actually have people reading my posts, so I want to serve you, too!

Recently, I’ve been focusing a lot on self development and my relationship with Jesus, which ultimately is more important than anything in my opinion. I think I’ve finally found a church in Raleigh that I can make a home – when I’m here on the weekends – and I’m so excited about that. I’ve also started reading this book (you may have seen me post about it on Instastory) called Love Does by Bob Goff which I actually learned  about from my cousin’s Instastory! I’m only about 40 pages into it, but it’s amazing. It takes a lot to keep me engaged in a physical book, but I can’t wait to read it before I go to bed each night. He tells stories from his life and how he came to know and understand Jesus and how we should love like Jesus. It’s the perfect ending to the day. I highly recommend it. If you are interested, you can find it here.

So back to my dress. It is my FAVORITE. I’ve worn it so many times since it came in the mail a few weeks ago. I’ve worn it out with friends, with my parents to dinner and to work on a Friday (my office is pretty casual)! I purchased mine from Nordstrom, but I linked the same dress from Belk but there they have a pretty blue one, too! I’ve honestly received so many compliments every time I wear it. I’m seriously thinking about getting it in another color, that’s how much I love it. It’s perfect to pair with wedges or sandals now; and I’m thinking booties in the fall!

I need to pack now for the PGA Championship in Charlotte this weekend! Anyone else heading there?

Have a great weekend! Leave some love in the comments below!

xoxo,

Cortney
